Neil Rawnsley

Neil Rawnsley is a native Victorian who began his real estate career in 1972 after graduating from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics. Neil also completed a Diploma Course in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia in 1979. He has continued to update his own qualifications and has also been an industry instructor. Service has always been his #1 priority … to his clients, his industry and his community. Along the way he has gained a lot of experience in sales, appraisal and real estate management. In addition to numerous local awards, he is the recipient of the Royal LePage President’s Gold Award and the prestigious Award of Excellence which recognizes top sales associates who continually demonstrate the highest standards of success in the company.

Neil has held many executive positions in the real estate industry including serving as President of the Victoria Real Estate Board (the first salesman to be elected), a director of the British Columbia Real Estate Association, Chairman of the Victoria Chapter of the Real Estate Institute of B.C., and Chairman of the Real Estate Council of British Columbia in 1995 and 1996. His community service includes serving as President of the Rotary Club of Oak Bay, a member of the Community Business Initiative Advisory Committee for the Federal Business Development Bank, Chairman of fundraising for the Victoria Hospice Society and creator and Chairman of the successful Corporate Swimathon. As the father of three active girls Neil immersed himself in coaching girls sports. An NCCP certified coach he was active in coaching basketball and softball and managing a number of local soccer teams. In 2007 he was pleased to be part of the Victoria organizing committee for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
